The Town of Great Barrington has an opening for an Administrative Assistant to work in the Department of Public Works Wastewater Division and provide assistance to other departments as required. This is a part time 12 hours per week position and an opportunity for a highly-motivated, detailed oriented individual to work with a wide variety of issues. The position requires customer service skills, excellent written communication skills, accounts payable and receivable experience and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software Applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Prefer 5 years of administrative experience and/or combination of experience and college education. Local government experience is not required. Looking for someone willing to learn and become a member of the team providing a high level of service to the citizens in the Town of Great Barrington.
