Housatonic Improvement Committee Seeks One Volunteer to Fill Vacancy

The Housatonic Improvement Committee has a vacancy for one new member, and interested village residents are encouraged to apply.

The committee, formed by the town in 2020, has a broad charge to foster the social and cultural well-being Housatonic. The specific duties and responsibilities are listed on the Town’s website on the committee’s town website page.

The committee recently completed recommendations for the use of the former Housatonic School, and is planning a village-wide event, Party in the Park, for Oct. 1, 2022.

Interested persons are asked to share a brief biography and reason for being interested in the committee. This should be mailed to apulver@townofgb.org.

Members of the committee include Patrick Barrett, Daniel Bialowes, Eric Gabriel, Louise Goldsmith, Angela Lomanto, and Bev Nourse.
