Senior Center Luncheon Talk: Health Care Proxys

GB Senior Center

The Claire Teague Senior Center hosts a talk on Thursday, Aug. 23 at noon on the topic of Health Care Proxys, with guest Julie Frost, a social worker from Great Barrington Healthcare. The Senior Center is located at 917 S. Main St., Great Barrington, MA.

A health care proxy is a legal document for adults of all ages who wish to authorize a friend or loved one to carry out medical instructions on their behalf in the event of serious illness or incapacity. A health care proxy can ensure that your medical wishes are honored if you are unable to make or communicate health care decisions.

Ms. Frost will explain health care proxys in more detail and take questions and answers from guests. For more information about upcoming activities at the Senior Center, visit the town's Council on Aging page.

All are welcome.
