REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
PURCHASE OR LEASE OF HOUSATONIC SCHOOL

The Town of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, through its Town Manager on behalf of the Selectboard, seeks redevelopment proposals for the Disposition, by sale or lease, of Real Property known as Housatonic School located at 207 Pleasant Street, Housatonic, Massachusetts, a three story, 21,000 square foot, former elementary school.

A document setting forth specifications and requirements for proposals and sale or lease to the successful proposer, as well as relevant information about the building, may be obtained by email request from the office of the Town Manager by emailing cmorales@townofgb.org between the dates of January 26, 2022 and May 20, 2022.

Completed sealed proposals must be received at the Town Manager’s Office in the Town Hall at 334 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230, on or before Tuesday, June 10th, 2022 by 2:00 pm.

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to cancel this request for proposals at any time, if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so.  The Town also reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposal process and make an award deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
