Ramsdell Public Library Boiler Replacement

PROJECT INFORMATION

The Project consists of the removal and replacement of the removal and replacement of an existing Steam boiler for the Ramsdell Public Library 1087 Main Street in Housatonic,
Massachusetts.

Bidder is responsible for all aspects of the project scope to include supply of new boiler, venting, piping, modifications, installation, electrical installation, removal, and disposal of old equipment.
Drawings, Specifications and Bid Documents are available electronically from lrichards@townofgb.org beginning August 19th, 2022, at 1:00 PM EST.

BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS
1. One executed copy of the Bid Form is to be submitted in a sealed envelope, to:

The envelope or email must be clearly marked as: RAMSDELL LIBRARY BOILER BID

2. The Bid Form in the Project Manual must be used so that bids will have equal weight for evaluation.

3. Bids received after the due date and time will be disqualified.

4. Questions are due to edm on September 9th, 2022, at 1:00 PM EST. Email all questions to: twidman@edm-ae.com

5. Bids are due by Sept. 19th, 2022, at 1:00 PM EST, at which time they will be publicly opened & read.

6. The project is tax-exempt. The successful bidder will be provided with the required documentation.

7. The Bid Security will be in the amount of five percent (5%) of the construction cost.

8. After opening of the bids, all proposals shall stand available for acceptance for a period of sixty (60) days.

SURVEY OF EXISTING CONDITIONS

1. There is a mandatory pre-bid conference at the site, on September 2nd, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Contract Drawings are available digitally. Send all requests to Tim Widman with edm: twidman@edm-ae.com

2. Bidders are cautioned not to submit proposals until having carefully examined the entire contract area and having made all necessary investigation to inform themselves thoroughly as to the existing conditions and all difficulties involved in completion of the work. Failure to do so will not be cause for claim for extra compensation due to conditions not witnessed.
