Appalachian Trail Community Celebration!

As a town traversed by the Appalachian Trail and its many hikers, Great Barrington is pleased to participate in this year's Appalachian Trail Community Celebration on Saturday, July 20, from 2-7 p.m. at Beartown State Forest's Benedict Pond in Monterey.

The annual event includes a full day of hikes, swimming and a pot luck style dinner event, drawing Appalachian Trail hikers, members of the Great Barrington Land Conservancy and others interested in attending.  Free parking at Benedict Pond is offered for this event.
