Assessors Release Proposed Valuations for FY 2020

NOTICE OF PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF FISCAL 2020
PROPOSED VALUATIONS GREAT BARRINGTON
PENDING PRELIMINARY CERTIFICATION

The Massachusetts Department of Revenue, Bureau of Local Assessment has allowed the Town of Great Barrington’s to post proposed values for the Fiscal Year 2020, pending preliminary certification.  The proposed preliminary values will be available for public viewing beginning Friday, Sept. 5, for five business days, ending Wednesday, Sept 11.  The values are posted at the Great Barrington Town Hall, located at 334 Main St on the 1st floor at the office of the Assessors, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Staff will be available to address questions or concerns.

A schedule of the proposed values is also available at the following libraries:

Mason Library, Monday through Wednesday, 10:00 am - 7:00 pm; Thursday & Friday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Ramsdell Library, Tuesday 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm; Wednesday 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm; Friday 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm; Saturday 10:00 am – 3:00 pm and Sunday 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

The Assessor’s Office will be open until 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 11.
