Police Chief Paul Storti has scheduled a series of “Meet and Greet” Zoom visits to meet with community members in coming weeks. A visit with Spanish-speaking guests is planned  as well.

Chief Storti will hear from meeting participants and share information about the GBPD’s outreach efforts, co-responder programs and state accreditation of the department. Events are scheduled for Mondays: March 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 11 a.m. A 4 p.m. meeting is set for Wednesday, March 10.

A meeting for Spanish speakers is scheduled for Wednesday, March 17 at 11 a.m., with Officer Andres Huertas joining the chief to assist with translation.

“My goal is to have a way for the public to learn about our department and the programs that we are cultivating,” says Chief Storti. “The topics will evolve depending on the interests and questions of meeting participants, and education for everyone, including the GBPD, is our priority.”

Registration is required and space is limited to facilitate conversation.

Anyone wishing to attend must pre-register by contacting Cara Becker, cbecker@townofgb.org. A name and email address are required for participation, and a Zoom link will be shared prior to the events.
