In the News: WGBY-TV Features Award-Winning GB Wastewater Treatment Plant Team

From flush to finish, WGBY-TV in Springfield and reporter Brian Sullivan have produced an excellent news story about the Great Barrington Wastewater Treatment Plant and its team of dedicated staff.

Assistant Plant Operator Paula Ely was recently recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency's New England region for overseeing consistently clean discharge from the Bentley Street facility. It's the second EPA award received by the GB plant in the last several years.

Sullivan gives an excellent explanation of how the wastewater treatment plant operation works. Congratulations to the GB WWTP and its staff for doing a great job in this critical service.
