Proclamation: GB Adopts Indigenous Peoples' Day

The Town of Great Barrington Selectboard has proclaimed the second Monday in October as "Indigenous Peoples' Day," in recognition of the Indigenous Peoples of the nation and the Indigenous Peoples of the Berkshires.
The board's unanimous action took place at its Sept. 23 Selectboard meeting.
