Regional Transportation Advisory Committee (RTAC) is seeking public input regarding survey results from the Berkshire Microtransit Survey

Request for public comment (02/14/2022)

The Regional Transportation Advisory Committee (RTAC) is seeking public input to validate survey results and trends regarding recommendations from the Berkshire Microtransit Survey.

The survey was distributed county-wide during December 2021 and January 2022 in collaboration with the Berkshire Regional Planning Commission (BRPC), receiving over 2200 responses. Microtransit is a shared-ride on-demand service, similar to a shared-ride Uber or Lyft.
The proposed service would be reasonably priced.

Public input will also assist in determining pilot service zone candidates throughout Berkshire County.

Please join us on Wednesday, March 2 at 5:30 p.m. or Wednesday, March 9 at 6:30p.m. to share your input via the Zoom link found on the Public Input Meeting Notice.

The Meeting Notices are located at www.townofgb.org. You can view the draft summary of findings at www.berkshiretransitsurvey.com.
If you cannot attend either of the meetings, you are welcome to submit public comments via email to comments@berkshiretransitsurvey.com no later than March 16, 2022 at 5 p.m. Please write “Microtransit Survey Comments” in the subject of your e-mail.
