Road Work Under Way in Housatonic

The town DPW is working on paving and other improvements in the Grove Street and Chestnut Ridge areas of Housatonic village.

Weather permitting, here is the schedule for the work:

9-28-2023: Guardrail removed and replaced, erosion control installed, safety signage installed.
10-1-2023: Roadway shimming as needed, milling lower half of Grove St.
10-2-2023: Asphalt binder install lower half Grove St.
10-3-2023: Install new catch basin and pipe upper Grove St.
10-4-2023: Structure adjustments, install new asphalt berm as needed.
10-5-2023: Structure adjustments
10-9-2023: Structure adjustments, top coat upper Grove St.
10-10-2023: Top coat remainder of roads
10-11-2023: Clean Up, loam and seed as needed.
