Short-Term Rental Owners in GB Face Fines for Unregistered Properties

Short-term rental (STR) property owners who have not completed their property registration must do so in order to avoid fines from the town.

As part of the town's Short-Term Rental bylaw, owners of STR properties in Great Barrington have -- or should have -- received U.S. mail correspondence with instructions on registering their properties, in compliance with the town's STR bylaw. This letter included a property activation code.

Property owners who did not receive, or misplaced, their correspondence may follow up to complete the process by emailing blt.str.support@govos.com, or by calling  (888) 751-1911 for assistance. The town has engaged GovOS to manage registration of STR properties.
