Sidewalk Project Under Way West & Lewis Avenue Areas

The Town of Great Barrington has begun a sidewalk improvement project on West and Lewis Avenues, and this work  is expected to take 6-8 weeks. 

During sidewalk construction on West Avenue sections of the roadway will be closed to through traffic, but local traffic to homes and businesses will be accommodated.  At all times emergency vehicles will be able to pass on West Avenue. 

During sidewalk construction on Lewis Avenue the roadway will remain open, but reduced to one lane of traffic at times.
