Winter Overnight Parking Ban: Nov. 15-March 31

With the town's winter parking ban in effect, residents are reminded that designated off-street parking lots are available. These lots are intended only for overnight use (no long-term parking is permitted in these lots).

The downtown lots include Town Hall, upper Railroad Street, the Castle Street lot and Mason Library lot. In Housatonic, residents may park at the Housatonic Community Center but vehicles must be parked against the building to avoid snow-clearing operations.

Any vehicles parked on the street between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. are subject to towing and/or ticketing.
