"Pesticides and Children’s Health: How Can We Protect Our Community?” Lecture Recording

The town hosted a webinar, “Pesticides and Children’s Health: How Can We Protect Our Community?” on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023.

The talk was presented by Sarah Evans, Ph.D., MPH. She is an assistant professor at the Department of Environmental Medicine and Public Health, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. 

Evans is a neuro-scientist focused on public education related to pediatric environmental health. She has created educational campaigns around child exposure to lead, pesticides and endocrine disruptors.

Dr. Evans suggested practical guidelines to provide healthier non-pesticide environments for children, schools and communities.
